2 Months to go.

60 days until I marry my best friend. That might seem like a long time to some people, but to me I look at that and think "oh my heavens, it's right around the corner!!" It's kind of crazy. Things have been working out though and we're just finishing up the little details (which seem to be the hardest). I wonder why girls always stress about the little things. I mean really, what does it matter what the sisters/bridesmaids wear? Isn't the wedding about Kyle and I? Shouldn't I just worry about how we are going to look? You'd think the answer would be yes. But I have spent many nights pondering what should be done about little things like this. The joys of being a girl. I decided that Sundays are my favorite days. Actually I've known this for a long time. But they are even more so now after getting to go to church with Kyle. It was so fun getting to sit next to him in almost all of the meetings and learn together! We came back to my house and Park and Kyle made cookies, while i supervised (i don't need any more practice cooking...okay, that's a lie) and they turned out delicious. We watched the greatest movie Return to Me. It's a must see. It's a Huff favorite. Ate dinner, and made our facebook wedding announcement. Practical perfect sunday.

Anyway, everyone is back up to school. I don't feel too left out, (about the school part) but it's hard not being up with all my peeps. I talked on the phone with my bff (alex) for like an hour. Yeah, it's the first day of school and we are already missing each other. It'll be weird not sharing a room with her anymore haha. Great memories. Also, I saw my fiance before he headed up. Bitter sweet, but hey it's not like we're losing contact. Plus I get to head to Vegas this weekend with my new Beus family because Justin and Britt are getting married!! I think it's going to be a really fun time. By that time, we'll almost be in the 50's people. Crazy.
P.s. Bring on the new year.
my boys.

sure glad kyle and parker can bake treats...

i supervised:)
New year's resolution number 1: Learn how to cook. :)

Never a Dull Moment.

It's almost ten in the morning, and I'm still in bed. Oh the joys of having a day off of work. As I have been sitting here I've just been reflecting on my life. A lot of memories come to mind, but some that I will never forget are those of my freshman year at college! I attended Utah State University, up until just this new semester. That in itself is a long story, but I was planning on moving home to save money to go to Ecuador to work in orphanages this summer. Obviously things have changed and I'm getting married, but it all worked out with me still moving home because I'm done with my prerequisites for the Nursing program. (keep your fingers crossed I can make it in the program this fall everyone.) I'm sure going to miss Kyle when he goes back up to school, but I'm positive time is going to fly by... we hope.

I highly recommend looking into this if any of you want to do service!

Anyway, I was thinking about all the fun times I had in college as a freshman! Wouldn't trade them for the world. I've had a best friend since 7th grade. Her name is Alex Henry. Growing up together and attending the same schools we were always told by people that we were the epitome of what you call "best friends". Seriously, she's my other half. I've had so many good times with her, there are WAY too many to name.
But my freshman year of college I grew to have 3 other best friends as well. Hanah Stanger, Katlin Griffin, and Tara Timothy. Though we are separating in our lives now, I will always consider them my best friends. We had way too much fun together! From weekly dance parties with 'stroby', finding the bridge to Tarabithia and Grandmother Willow, purchasing baby ducks and keeping them in our apartment for a week, movie time, sleepovers, pranks with the neighbors, roommate dinners, Justin Bieber obsession along with The Bachelor, and constantly laughing/fighting/and playing together, it was always an adventure. I'm so grateful I got to be apart of their lives for a year and grow close to them. I know this was all pretty random, but I just was thinking of how much I will always love them and will never forget them! So girls, here's to us
